CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!
I’m glad you’re here! Balance, growth, and healing are what I believe to be some of the most important components of our lives. There is always room for forgiveness and redemption if we allow it. My goal is to help you learn to access these functions of yourself and work towards being your Best Possible Self. Reconnecting with your belief of mind, body, soul, and your readiness for change will be an amazing collaborative force to our mission together. I believe everyone can reach their full potential and tap into their innermost strengths, with self-determination, self-discipline, and the right tools. Let’s meet your inner warrior!
Since graduating from Saint Leo University, with a Master of Social Work, I've had the pleasure to be a school, hospital, and hospice social worker, as well as an IOP Therapist. I have successfully treated people experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, sexual abuse, low self-esteem, stress management, mood disorders, and PTSD.
As an amputee, I can also offer a unique specialty of grief and loss associated with limb loss. I understand how hard readjusting to life after limb loss can be and I’m here to help you reconnect with the newest version of you. Confidentiality and respect are at the foundation of my practice, and I can’t wait to join forces. Talk soon!
A note from Amanda: I am very excited to have Katie join the Mixed Nuts team. She has a gentle, supportive energy that holds a safe space in the therapy room. I am also excited that Katie is willing to support families specifically seeking therapy from a Christian worldview.
